Sanctuary Animals
These animals have found a forever home with our sanctuary.
Sadie ♡
From a wild, aggressive, pregnant dog that no one could handle… to my best friend and my seizure alert service dog. You have become my greatest accomplishment, my protector, my healer, and my heart. You save my life every day, and I’ll spend the rest of mine reminding you that you’re perfect. — Lauren Rock, Founder of The Rock Wildlife Foundation & Sanctuary
Kona
Relinquished to us after a Tylenol ingestion that nearly cost her both eyes, Kona fought through severe swelling and a week in the ICU. With a year of specialized care, she’s regained partial vision in both eyes — and a second chance at life.
Loki
As a tiny kitten, Loki was run over by a car, leaving his back leg broken beyond repair. After amputation, he amazed us all — within 2 days he was back to running and playing like nothing had ever happened. Our little warrior.
Kilo
In his first year, Kilo was relinquished 9 times and faced euthanasia. On what was supposed to be his last day, we rescued him. Today, he’s the sweetest, silliest boy you’ll ever meet — living a life full of love and happiness here at the sanctuary.
Ottis
Found abandoned outside a few years ago, Ottis was welcomed into the sanctuary and hasn’t looked back. Today, he’s the happiest, most outgoing cat you could ever imagine — spreading joy wherever he goes.
Onyx ♡
After nearly 4 months missing, this sweet boy was found and brought to a hospital by a good Samaritan. Thanks to his microchip, he was reunited with his owner — our very own Vice President & Treasurer, Bristina Stanfield. A true miracle story.
Opal
Opal was adopted from a shelter as a young kitten. She has and always will be the princess of the house. She has a permanent home in our hearts, and here at the sanctuary.
Bill-Bob II
Billy was abandoned at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital. He arrived in critical condition — anemic, septic, and extremely emaciated — he was close to death. Thanks to the incredible care from our team at MVH, he received extensive treatment and rehabilitation. Today, he’s full of love, energy, and joy — a constant reminder of resilience and the power of a second chance.
Griffin
Griffin is our beautiful all-white tumbler pigeon that was relinquished to us on Christmas. Once an indoor-only pet, he now has a safe and happy forever home here at the sanctuary.
Ruby
Ruby is a brown and white Homer pigeon who once traveled across many states. She immediately bonded with our tumbler pigeon Griffin. Shortly after being relinquished to us, we discovered that she had a grade 4 heart murmur. She’s now on lifelong medication and thriving with us at the sanctuary.
Grandpa Earl & Betty White
These two sweet pigeons are Griffin and Ruby’s babies. We had the joy of watching them lay their eggs, sit, hatch, and care for their squabs all on their own. Today, they’ve grown into the cutest, gentlest pigeons — full of love and personality
Coturnix Quail
Our Coturnix quail are hatched and raised from our own eggs, then released onto our farmland where they live freely and are carefully monitored.
Lucky Linda
Lucky Linda is our only Coturnix quail from our original 2024 batch who never flew away from us! She lays an egg every single day and has become our “mother quail,” raising our newest chicks with all the love and care in the world. We don’t want her to ever leave either!
Richard and the Jersey Girls
Richard, our proud Black Jersey Giant rooster, and his three lovely hens are an inseparable little flock full of charm and personality. They love to follow us around the farm!
Guinea Fowl
We rescued three pearl guinea fowl from a sanctuary member’s property, giving them a safe home here after their flock was threatened by foxes, coyotes, and other predators.
